The fintech mobile application redesign successfully aligned with modern market trends, enhancing both UI aesthetics and UX efficiency.

Background
Sadhan, a fintech company, approached me to redesign their mobile application to align with modern UI trends, improve user engagement, and deliver a more intuitive interface. However, one major constraint was that the application’s underlying architecture and backend APIs were not to be altered — meaning the app flow, functionalities, and structure needed to remain intact.
Core problem
Outdated UI: The current interface was visually cluttered, inconsistent in design language, and lacked a modern appeal.
User Feedback: Users reported poor readability, inconsistent navigation, and outdated color themes.
Component Constraints: UI changes had to be backward-compatible with the existing front-end logic and data structures.
Fixed App Architecture: No changes to the app flow or API responses were allowed.
Goal
Apply a clean, modern visual style while preserving existing flows.
Improve readability through better typography and contrast.
Use a soft, fintech-friendly color palette (e.g., gradients, soft blues, teals).
Create reusable and scalable design components to ensure consistency.
Design Process & Project Timeline
Analyzed the existing app’s UX and UI.
Conducted competitive analysis and studied design trends in fintech.
Identified user pain points and UI inconsistencies.

Design System
I built a mini design system including color palette, typography, spacing guidelines, button states, form inputs, and reusable components.

Visual Redesign
Implemented a clean, modern interface with a focus on visual hierarchy.
By adopting a user-centric approach and integrating the latest design trends, the Sadhan mobile application achieved a modern, efficient, and engaging user experience.

Results and Impact
28% increase in active daily users within 3 months post-launch.
35% more users set up financial goals.
18% decrease in support tickets related to app navigation or confusion.
Key Learning: Modernizing an app doesn’t always mean rebuilding it. Smart front-end redesigns can transform user perception without rewriting backend logic.
